Welcome to InterCare's Benton Harbor Student Health Center

Small health problems can become big problems if left untreated. But it is not always easy for teens to find affordable medical care. InterCare Community Health Network is dedicated to improving your health by providing high quality, comprehensive primary health care.

Our services include:

• Annual physical exams including pap tests
• Assistance with applications for Medicaid and MIChild/Healthy Kids Health Insurance
• Counseling and education on nutrition, weight control, family planning, substance abuse and other concerns
• Foster care physicals
• Health screenings
• Immunizations
• Lab tests
• Prevention services
• Referrals to other health services
• School physicals
• Sports physicals
• Treatment for illness or injury

Your First Visit

Benton Harbor area school students ages 10 to 19 may use the services of our health center located in the Annex Building behind the high school. Each patient must complete and submit a health history and consent form before your first visit.

Insurance

All insurances are accepted, including Medicaid.

Sliding Fee Discount

There is a sliding fee scale for persons without insurance. We also accept Medicaid. No one will go without medical care because they cannot pay for the services.

Our Staff

Our staff includes a Physician's Assistant, a certified medical assistant, office assistant, and a manager who are committed to helping you make healthy choices.

Hours

The health center is open 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday all year.
