Description:
Provides comprehensive quality dental services by preparing patients for dental treatment and preparing dental operatories and the lab daily. Provides understandable and complete instructions to patients on procedures, using appropriate communication skills and/or an interpreter to ensure patients understanding.
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene school, and licensure in dental hygiene from the state of Michigan. Knowledge of dentistry, strong leadership skills, computer, infection control, JCAHO, OSHA and Medicaid policies required. Hours vary, with some night clinic hours (up to 8 hour per week). Possible dental van coverage in Migrant camps, schools, other agencies and other InterCare health centers.
