Description:

Works in partnership with providers and other clinical support staff to deliver safe, high quality patient assessment, treatment and follow up care in an ambulatory setting. Prepares patients for examinations or treatments. Screens patients, assists provider during examinations, administers immunizations and administers or dispenses medications.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program. Certified by accredited certification body -or- qualifies to test and obtains a passing score.

Description:

Provides clerical and administrative support to the professional staff and assists the migrant farmworkers in obtaining health and support services in the Sparta area. Must have excellent customer service and receptionist skills, accurate and timely filing ability, and advanced keyboard and computer skills.

Requirements:

Requires bilingual English/Spanish speaking, reading and writing ability, a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least one year in experience in an office environment.
