Description:

Assumes a lead role in all clinical functions of the site. In conjuction with the site manager, monitors and analyzes work methods, staff scheduling and patient flow to assure a high level of service quality and cost effectiveness. Works in partnership with providers and other clinical support staff to deliver safe, high quality patient assessment, treatment and follow up care in an ambulatory setting. Promotes good interpersonal relations and teamwork among all clinical support staff. Assists the site manager with recruitment and hiring of clinical staff, prepares weekly clinical staff schedules and adjusts daily clinical support staffing to meet clinic demands.

Requirements:

Degree from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred. State of Michigan nursing license and at least five years experience in an ambulatory health care setting, preferably a Community Health Center. Prefer an individual that had supervisory experience or has lead teams towards the completion of expected results.

Description:

Provides assessment, nursing support services, case management and health promotion education to preganant and postpartum women and to mothers of infants most at risk. Functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team headed by the MIHP Coordinator.

Requirements:

Nursing diploma ADN, BSN or MSN with current CPR certification and Michigan nursing license with one to two years experience in community health, pediatric, and/or maternal/infant nursing services required. Requires frequent travel and visits into clients' homes and flexibility to work varying hours. Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency preferred.
